Arizona Football Players Charged for Brawl at Party

Four Arizona football players were arrested by the Tucson Police Department and face multiple charges for a fight that occurred at a house party, according to the student newspaper, the Arizona Daily Wildcat.

Sophomore cornerback Jourdon Grandon, sophomore offensive tackle Fabbians Ebbele and sophomore offensive lineman Eric Bender- Ramsay were charged with first-degree criminal trespassing and assault, while sophomore safety Jared Tevis was charged with trespassing, according to a police report obtained by the paper.

According to the police report, conflict arose when Tevis arrived to a house party with teammates. Though he was invited, his guests were not.

They were asked to leave and former player Joshua Robbins responded by pushing a woman who, in turn, slapped him. Robbins then punched the young lady in the face.

The players left the party and returned with more people. The situation escalated as players engaged in a brawl with people in the party.

Robbins sped away from the scene, but was pulled over by police.

The university has yet to release a statement regarding the incident.
