Arkansas Teen Tries To Steal Plane To Fly To #FamousDex Concert 😮 _ Oh Man God Damn! _ An Arkansas teenager found himself in that jam after attempting to steal a commercial jet this past summer. _ Zemarcuis Scott, 18, wanted to fly the American Eagle twin-engine jet to Chicago on the Fourth of July to attend a rap concert featuring Famous Dex. _ The teen, who has no pilot training, told police he believed he only needed to pull some levers and push some buttons to operate the 44-seat plane. _ Scott pleaded guilty Thursday, Jan. 24 to attempted theft of property and commercial burglary. Scott was sentenced to five years of felony probation for his actions. _ He must also pay a $1,000 fine in addition to court costs, and is required to receive mental health treatment deemed necessary by the probation department. _ He is banned from Texarkana Regional Airport property while on probation. _ The teen told police he planned the plane heist a month in advance. On July 4, Scott rode his bicycle to TRA, threw his bike into a ditch and jumped a fence to reach the jet. _ Airport security saw Scott jump the fence, and notified authorities. Scott was already sitting in the pilot’s cockpit when police arrived.
