A 9-year-old Vicksburg, MS boy was recently kicked out of a day care following surveillance footage showing him violently beating infants and toddlers.
Surveillance video revealed disturbing images of the young boy punching and kicking children at the Kiddie City Childcare Center.
One of the victims reportedly came home for week with injuries that included a busted lip and a bite mark on her chin, NBC 3 reports.
James Williams, the father of the one of the alleged victims, stormed into the daycare Monday, July 16 demanding answers for his daughter’s injuries.
Williams was arrested and charged with simple assault after slapping a 6-year-old boy he thought was responsible. The bully can be seen pointing to the 6-year-old boy in the footage after the father enters the daycare.
The 9-year-old boy’s aunt has spoken out to defend her sister and nephew. Vinia Dolley posted a lengthy Facebook message discussing the controversy surrounding her 9-year-old nephew.
Dolley said it was “wrong” for what her nephew did and that his “mother don’t teach him to fight other people kids.”
“Y’all don’t know both sides of the story so keep all the smart sh*t to y’all self n I’m so sorry for wat he did,” she wrote.
Dolley commented on the backlash her 9-year-old nephew is receiving and reminded everyone he is “still a damn child.”
“anit nobody going to f**k with him cause that’s a child n some of the mother f**kers on he talking sh*t n don’t even have kids so can’t say what u would done,” she wrote.
Dolley wrote, “U can teach yo kids whatever they still going to do whatever.”
My sister, she said, don’t teach her kids to beat on other people’s kids.
“I best believe he getting his ass beat but we are sorry for what he did he in only 9 so stop all the bull sh*t.” she wrote.
Sandra Trevillion, worker at the Kiddie City Childcare Center, was arrested and charged with contributing to the neglect of a minor. NBC 3 reports the Department of Human Services is investigating the incidents and may file additional charges.
