Rising hip hop artists Tyga and Big Sean hope an end is near in sight for Drake/ Chris Brown beef, MTV News reports.
MTV News was on the red carpet at The BET Awards in Los Angeles, Ca to get Young Money rapper Tyga and G.O.O.D. Music rapper Big Sean’s opinion on the bad blood between the two artists.
Breezy released the diss track “I Don’t Like” over the weekend taking shots at the “Motto” rapper. Brown and Drake’s beef escalated to new heights after their entourages clashed in New York City nightclub.
“Nobody wants to see them beef,” Tyga told MTV News. “They both make great music, they’re both talented, but at the end of the day, as men, they have to figure out what they want to do.”
Tyga is Drake’s labelmate and a close friend of Chris Brown. The rapper is choosing to remain neutral in the two’s ongoing feud.
Tyga, who collaborated with Brown on the 2010 mixtape Fan of a Fan, calls Brown his “brother” and Drake “family.”
“…At the end of the day, they gotta handle that like men,” Tyga said. “It’s like nobody else can mediate that, and it’s like that’s how it goes sometimes.”
Big Sean, who collaborated with Brown on his single “My Last,” says he and Brown are “close friends.” But he hasn’t had a chance to talk to him.
“Hopefully they get it resolved, honestly, man. People ain’t got no time for no beef,” the Detroit-bred emcee said. “People ain’t got no time to be beefin’. We workin’ too hard for our fam, for our kids, our unborn kids to have a bright future. Nobody got no time for that.”
