Bo Deal Rebukes Violent Fourth of July Weekend Shootings In Chicago



A string of shootings over the Fourth of July weekend in Chicago has Bo Deal fuming. The Chicago Tribune is reporting at least 82 people were shot over the holiday weekend since Thursday afternoon. Fourteen of the victims died from their injuries.

“When is enuff enuff!!!! Some of them rotten muf-ckas deserve it but my heart goes out to the innocent children, women & babies losing their lives over nothing!!! #putthegunsdown or #hityourtarget,” Bo Deal wrote on IG.



Multiple women were among the innocent bystanders affected by the City’s shooting violence.

A 44-year-old woman was shot and killed at a barbecue around 12:30 a.m. Monday in the city’s Morgan Park Neighborhood. A 66-year-old woman was grazed in the head as she walked up the steps of her porch. A 21-year-old woman died after she was shot in the head during a drive-by shooting.

Several teens were also affected by the gun violence.

One of the fatalities included 16-year-old Warren Robinson who was shot and killed by police after it was alleged he had a gun and pointed it at them. Police also shot and killed 14-year-old Pedro Rios after they alleged he pointed a gun at them.

There were a total of five police-related shootings over the weekend, according to Chicago Sun-Times.

Since Jan 1., more than 1,100 people have been shot in Chicago, according to Huffington Post.

NBC Chicago reports the number of people killed this year is down from 2013 when 12 men were killed and at least 60 others wounded.
