22Gz is in hot water after footage of his Live Stream from jail surfaced online. 22Gz, whose real name is Jeffrey Alexander, was part of a gang sweep Friday night.

22Gz and 11 other suspects were reportedly arrested on weapon and drugs charges Friday after they were caught trespassing in the basement of a Crown Heights apartments. One of the suspects was carrying a stun gun.

22Gz and his crew were taken to a holding cell in the 71st Precinct stationhouse in Crown Heights.

The 20-year-old rapper and his guys can be seen flexing and taunting the police who arrested them.

22Gz’s video is sparking controversy because police didn’t properly pat them down. Some members of 22Gz’s crew can be seen waving cash and baggies of marijuana.

Sgt. Brendan Ryan, an NYPD spokesman told the New York Daily News the department is reviewing the video.

“Some heads are going to roll at the 71,” a law enforcement source told the Daily News. “They should have patted these guys down as soon as they arrested them and removed all their weed. Then, at the sergeant’s desk, everything, their cash and phones, are put in evidence bags and sealed. Someone is definitely in trouble here.”

22Gz was arrested on murder charges in Miami last May, after a man was fatally shot over a parking lot dispute. The charges were reportedly dropped in October after prosecutors determined the victim was shot by a suspect who was shot and killed by police in a subsequent police chase in Miami Beach.
