The family of BTY YoungN is one step closer to getting justice for the murder of the up and coming rapper. Two men have now been charged in the April 29 murder of the Rich Gang emcee.

Darryl “Dino” Bannister, 31, and Kyron D. Williams, 27, were both charged with second-degree murder, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. They are each being held on $1 million bond.

The two men face a mandatory life sentence if convicted of the charge.

Williams is still on the run since being named a suspect.

YoungN, born Desmone Jerome, was fatally shot in the early hours of Sunday, April 30 at a Shell gas station in Lil Wayne’s Hollygrove neighborhood.

Bannister Jr. was named the first suspect in YoungN’s murder when he was arrested Sunday, April 30.

Bannister was booked on one count of second-degree murder in the fatal shooting. He is being held on $350,000 bail.

Police were able to identify Bannister as their suspect because he allegedly left his cell phone at the crime scene, NOLA.com reports. Bannister turned himself into authorities at New Orleans police headquarters, The Advocate reports.

Bannister was allegedly one of two gunmen shown in gas station video surveillance opening fire on YoungN. Footage showed the phone was dropped during the shooting.

Bannister maintains his cell phone was stolen at a party earlier that day.
