In the midst of school, homework, chores and boys, teenage Chicago rapper Tink still finds time for her music.
The “Blunts & Ballads” rapper recently released her “Background Music Pt. 1” official music video. The song appears on the artist’s “Alter Ego” mixtape.
A Zae Production takes a simple, yet effective approach for the production by having Tink harmonizing from a chair in a dark room.
“Background Music” is an emotional love ballad sung from the lips of a “wise beyond her years” 17-year-old girl.
“Put me on top/ Top of the world/ Love is so hot, you sweat out my curls/Pulling and tugging like kids out at recess/ I’m aware that you really do need this.”
The conclusion of the video stated “To Be Continued.” Tink may have hinted at a possible music video for “Background Music Pt. 2,” which appears on the “Blunts & Ballads” mixtape.
That is a thought fans are surely hoping for.
