The Chicago Hip Hop community is currently mourning the loss of one of its own rising stars. OTF NuNu lost his life Saturday in a senseless act of gun violence. He was 21.

A spotlight is shining bright on the city’s Hip Hop scene unlike ever before. The advent of social media is propelling the careers of these artists at an exceedingly fast pace. The talent cannot be denied. Lyricism and delivery has always been one of the main strengths of any MC. OTF NuNu was blessed to possess those skills and more.

But as the city’s Hip Hop and urban community community takes one step forward in a positive direction, it is knocked back two steps in an instant.

NuNu’s sudden death proved to be a shock to many. Members of Chicago’s Hip Hop community took to social media to honor NuNu. Others decried the violence gripping their hometown and called for action.





























































NuNu was prepping the release of his debut mixtape “Nuski Got Da Strap” before his untimely death. He recently released the music video for single “OC” with OTF counterpart Lil Durk.
