Chicago Man Who Survived Drive-By Shooting On Facebook Live Shot and Killed Over Halloween Weekend

Chicago man Brian Fields made worldwide news in April after he was nearly killed in a drive-by shooting that was captured on Facebook Live. Fields was sent to the hospital in critical condition, but survived his injuries.

Fields was shot again over the Halloween weekend, but wasn’t so lucky this time.

Fields and Chiquita Ford, both 30, were shot and killed on Friday, Oct. 28. Fields and Ford were sitting in a car when they were fatally, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Fields’ death came in the midst of the City’s most deadly weekend this year. A total of 58 people were shot, 17 fatally, ABC 7 Chicago reports.

Fields is among 3,598 people who have been shot in Chicago this year, according to stats compiled by Chicago Tribune. There have been at least 618 people killed in Chicago so far this year.
