Chicago producer Young Chop brings humor to the studio. The self-proclaimed comedian says he brings out the “goofiness” in Interscope artist Chief Keef.

“I think I’m funny as they say,” Young Chop said in an interview with Fader TV. “I don’t know, I just be doing me. I just be me. I goof, but sometimes it get a little serious once in a while. It gotta be some type of sense of humor in the studio. You just wanna enjoy life. I’m gonna enjoy mine. I’m gonna make a beat and I’m gonna goof off.”

Young Chop said he is able to break the ice when Chief Keef and GBE associates are in the studio,

“I bring the goofiness out of Chief Keef because I am a goof ball,” he said. “When I come around, I’m just the life of the party. Then I make them get out their shell.. out that all that hard stuff. That don’t fly with me.”
