Chicago Singer Johnny P of ‘Do or Die’ Passes Away

Chicago singer Johnny P of famed Hip Hop group Do or Die has passed away. He was 44.

Johnny P’s death was confirmed on Wicked Entertainment’s Facebook page in November.

Twista, who collaborated with Do or Die on songs “Po Pimp,” “Playa Like Me” and “You,” took to Twitter to mourn the loss Johnny P.

He wrote, “Damn my dawg #JohnnyP is gone, im@speechless right now #RIP.”

Lupe Fiasco also mourned Johnny P’s loss.

Lupe wrote, “RIP Johnny P Po-Pimpin! Chicago Legend!”

Do or Die took to their IG page to remember their fallen brother.

The caption on their post read, “Our Brother Was Called Home.. Rest In Heaven #JohnnyP. Our Prayers Are With His Family #DoOrDie.”
