Chief Keef Angers Fans After Missing Arizona Concert To Turn Up In Los Angeles



Chief Keef disappointed many fans Wednesday, Sept. 4 after being a no show for a scheduled concert performance in Tucson, AZ.

All was good as the concert was postponed to Friday, Sept. 6, with Keef’s reps citing a death in the Interscope artist’s family.

Phenomenon Concerts posted the news through their Twitter account informing ticket holders of the switched dates.

“We regret to inform you due to a death in the family tonight’s Chief Keef show at The Rialto theatre/Tucson,” the statement read.



Chief Keef also posted his concert performance new scheduled date.

“Needs to go out ASAP please. Show has been postponed to this Friday. 10:30pm show. Tix honored. Rialto Theatre,” he wrote.



The impending show excited many of Keef’s die-hard fans.

Twitter user @andreagarayy posted an image of herself holding a purchased ticket with caption, reading “See you tomorrow bae @ChiefKeef.”



Twitter user @aka1frank shared similar excitement, writing, “Cheifkeef and @iamsu show… There is a god.”



Phenomenon Concert Promotion tweeted:

“TONIGHT Chief Keef and his GLO Gang with special Guests Iamsu, Kool John and Jay Ant takeover The Rialto

“TONIGHT!!! @ChiefKeef with @IAMSU @KOOLJOHN @jayantmusic takeover the @TheRialtoTucson Tix will be avail at door



But the excitement many fans expressed soon turned to anger after Chief Keef decided he would rather be in Los Angeles instead.

“In Los Angeles Cali Turn Up!” Keef wrote on the day of his scheduled performance.



Rialto Theatre, the venue Chief Keef was to perform, wrote, “No one can locate @ChiefKeef so tonight’s show is not happening. We are sorry for the incovenience @FINALLYMADE @pconcertsaz.”



Phenomenon explained the ordeal to confused fans.

“@TheIllmxtic @whatsuptucson @ChiefKeef not even his uncle Zoe know where he is.



“@MNDZA15 no he decided hanging in LA was more important than boarding a plane to do a show for his fans that paid money to see him



“LaughwAndre ha good one but he never left California. Was supposed to be on a flight here but no once can reach him,” the concert promotion company wrote.



Chief Keef’s no-show act angered fans:







Phenomenon slammed Keef, saying the “I Don’t Like” artist’s career is doomed to fail due to his lack of integrity.

“So the show gets announced Monday after rock the bells it’s a cobill with a wolf and a sinner. $10 onsale discount for the Keith debacle

“Artists like @ChiefKeef that don’t honor their obligations will have short careers that never progress. We have a better show to announce,” the company wrote.



Realto Theatre asked if they would work with Chief Keef in the future to which the company replied, “nah. Once bitten twice shy.



Chief Keef is known to miss scheduled shows.

Team Major, a Great Britain-based concert promotions company, sued the singer for missing a Dec. 29 performance set in London.

Gossip Entertainment website TMZ is reporting the judge ruled in favor of the company and ordered Chief Keef to pay $230,019 in damages, loss of earnings and reputational harm.
