Chief Keef Suspended From FilmOn; BMW i8 Repossessed

Chief Keef and Alki David’s FilmOn label have “temporarily” parted ways, VladTV reports.

Alki told VladTV he suspended Sosa from his label for going on an unauthorized tour. Alki also repossessed the 2015 BMW i8 he gifted Sosa on his 20th birthday. The MRSP for Sosa’s i8 was $135,700.

“Chief Keef’s contract was suspended 2 weeks ago because his management went off and did a tour without our approval,” Alki said in a statement. “Not happy with the direction they are taking him. Same sh*t over and over. Limiting his appeal to a wider audience and I’m not saying he should sell out, just be more prolific.”

Sosa has been busy on his Camp Glo tour for the past few months.

David is also upset with Sosa for collaborating with Las Vegas D.Flores who was recently arrested for kidnapping and forcing a 15-year-old girl into prostitution.

D. Flores, whose real name is Danny Flores, 26, and his girlfriend Mitzi Flores, 25, face several charges, including first-degree kidnapping, sex trafficking of a child under 16, accepting earnings of a prostitute, child abuse or neglect and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking.

Despite Sosa’s contract being suspended, Alki says he still believes in the Glo Gang boss.

“I don’t blame Keith, I blame his shady management. Keith is a f*****g rap superstar.”

Chief Keef faced a similar label situation after he was dropped from Interscope in October 2014.

While promoting “Bang 3” in July 2015, Sosa spoke on getting dropped from Interscope

“The drop part I really didn’t care about. I was actually working towards that,” Sosa said. “I knew the stuff I was doing was gon get me dropped. I didn’t want to be with Interscope actually. Jimmy left too… I was already doing what I do like not going to shows, not coming to their sh*t… just no to everything. I knew that was going to happen. It made me look at the bigger picture. …I met [David Alki]… It made me look at the bigger picture of me and my music, how I needed to grow up…. I learned from my mistakes. I didn’t really give a f*ck. It made me go crazy [laughs]. I don’t care though.”

Sosa revealed via Twitter that new management led to his release from Interscope. Iovine was replaced by John Janick in May after stepping down from his position as Interscope Geffen A&M chairman and CEO. Iovine and Dre have gone on to assume senior positions at Apple.

“When Jimmy n Dre left that’s when I said f-ck Interscope! Big D-ck style. that’s what I signed up for not this new staff! Of WhiteHonkies!” he wrote.

Sosa said he was not fazed by getting dropped.

“100% of everything goes to me now Jimmy it was cool splitting it with U But u gave yo spot up!

“Laughing because to me I been Dropped. mfs ain’t help Pay no Mf Bills

“Ain’t sh-t gone stop Jus gets Better and bigger!” he wrote.

AllHipHop.com cites the “Now and Later” rapper’s legal woes and drug addiction led to his release.
