Chinx’s Family Raise GoFundMe Campaign To $100K



The family of slain Coke Boy rapper Chinx have decided to up the to GoFundMe campaign to $100,000. The campaign goal was initially set at $20,000. Close to $10,000 has been raised so far. AllHipHop reports all proceeds from the fundraiser will be placed into a trust for Chinx’s children.

Chinx, born Lionel Pickens, died Sunday after he was shot multiple times in a drive-by shooting. He was 31.



French Montana took to IG to announce costs were taken care of.

His post read, “I hate having to address the negativity during this time of grief. It is irrelevant. I pray that everyone would consider that real people lost a real man, friend, brother, father before spreading hateful speech. His funeral is taken care of …. My brother is in good hand… If you don’t have nothing positive to say keep it to your self #ripchinx.”



Chinx’s funeral has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 26 at The Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York in Jamaica, NY.
