Chinx of French Montana’s Coke Boys Fatally Shot During Drive-By In Queens, NY



Chinx, a rapper affiliated with French Montana’s Coke Boys camp, died after he was shot multiple times in a drive-by shooting. He was 31.



Chinx, born Lionel Pickens, was driving on Queens Boulevard around 4:30 a.m. with an unidentified passenger in his Porshce when another vehicle pulled up and opened fire. Chinx’s passenger was shot twice in the back and is currently in critical condition at Jamaica Hospital.





Chinx’s management confirmed his passing in a statement obtained by HotNewHipHop:

“It is with a heavy heart that The Legion Media Group and 4 Kings Management announce the passing of Lionel ‘Chinx’ Pickens this morning. He was 31.

Few details are available about his passing but his management confirmed his passing this morning. The rapper from Queens, New York was a member of French Montana’s Coke Boys.

Chinx’s dedication, humor, and vision will always be remembered: ‘Chinx was one of the most talented, dedicated, and determined rappers this industry had to offer,’ says publicist Chanel Rae, ‘Furthermore, he was a friend.'”

Police may have lead on who was behind Chinx’s fatal shooting. An IG user under account “Teamshabbaoffical” wrote, “I told him we would catch him rest in piss b*tch.”
