Chiraq Rapper Fif Money Killed During Standoff With Police In Derrick Rose’s Childhood Home



Fif Money, an up and coming Chicago rapper, was killed during a standoff with CPD, according to DNAinfo.com. The fatal shooting occurred inside the childhood home of Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose.

Fif, whose real name was Charles Smith, 29, and his 20-year-old girlfriend Breanna Patterson are accused of breaking into an Englewood home around 4 a.m. to look for a man who robbed them, according to the Chicago Tribune. Smith was armed with a .40-caliber handgun when he trashed the home and threatened all occupants inside.

Police soon arrived and gunshots were exchanged. Fif was killed after he suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Patterson, the mother of two infant children, has been charged with first-degree and held on $1 million bail.
