Authorities are investigating allegations made by a Miami woman that pop star Chris Brown stole her iPhone outside a South Beach nightclub when she tried to snap a photo of him, The Associated Press reports.
Christal Shanae Spann, 24, said in a police report she and her friends saw Brown and rapper Tyga leaving the Cameo club early Sunday. She saw him enter a black Bentley and tried to take a picture of him sitting in the car.
Spann claims Brown grabbed her phone and said “… you ain’t going to put that on no website,” and drove off, according to the report.
“My prosecutors are currently speaking with the witnesses and reviewing all of the materials supplied by Miami Beach police,” Katherine Fernandez Rundle, Miami-Dade County’s chief prosecutor, told AP. “Only after these reviews have been completed would any type of action be considered or taken.”

Any potential charges could prove detrimental to Brown and his career as he is currently on probation for the beating of his former girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. The report classified the theft as “robbery by sudden snatching,” which is a felony.
No charges have been filed.
