George Clinton and The Parliament recently held a concert where they invited some men of Omega Psi Phi onstage. The scene got pretty wild with the Que Dawgs setting “owt” the stage.
But many may not have noticed Mr. Funkadelic himself throwing up the Ques’ signature “hook.”
Was this affirmation of George Clinton being a member of Omega Psi Phi? The Ques don’t take lightly anyone repping their org even if their beloved theme song “Atomic Dog” belongs to the king of Funk.
At time 2:09 of the video, Clinton throws up the hook with members of the fraternity. Do you think these were “real” Ques on the stage?

I went to his concert a few months back and I must say that it was amazing, but I was taken aback by the atomic dog performance. they incorporated a lot of the omegas signature moves into he song. it appeared as if he and his band were apart of the org. i’ll be the first to say that i know nothing about greek fraternities, but by judging from the outside looking in, it seemed a bit odd. i’ve even seen members of the audience mimicking the moves of clinton and backup dancers. it was very funny. a white woman was doing the hook thing : O great times

but oooh thats a no no. out of all of the fraternities, the ques seem to have the most love for their frat so i highly doubt they would allow anyone to throw their hook up. he may be a member or may not be, but you all have to remember that this is the creator of the atomic dog. they may have just given him a pass but then again, i don’t think they would give anybody a pass no matter how cool they are. there are boundaries, you just don’t cross. i would never allow anybody to imitate my sorority

George Clinton is not a member of Omega Psi Phi. He is a member of Phi Beta Sigma. The song was written prior to him becoming a Sigma.

George Clinton is not a Que. he’s actually a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. The Ques have nothing but respect for George Clinton especially if their presence is based off of the mans song! If they had a problem with it, they could stroll to another song. “Who Let Dogs Out” perhaps….?
