DoeBoi Flexx penned an emotional plea for help in his latest single “Save My City.” The South Side Chicago rapper asks the Lord to help his hometown now commonly referred to as Chiraq for its high rate of violence and crime.
The Chicago teen raps, “I wish it could go back to how it used to be/I done lost too many n*ggas who done grew with me/All this killing killing sh*t getting fu to me/I been to too many funeral, done heard too many eulogies.”
This single comes as Flexx preps the release of his upcoming mixtape “Live From Chiraq.”
