Drake Disses Meek Mill In ‘Hype’

There is no love lost between Drake and Meek Mill. Drizzy let Meek Mill know he ain’t with the ghostwriting allegations on his newly released album “Views.”

The 6ix God threw shots at Meek Milly in song Hype, rapping, “My enemies wanna be friends with my other enemies/I don’t let it get to me.”

Meek Mill notably linked with the Sauce Twinz on song “Winnin” following his fallout with Drake.

Drake later addressed the ghostwriting allegations, rapping, “I don’t run out of material/You shouldn’t speak on me period/You try to give your side of the story/They heard it/But they weren’t hearing it.”

Last summer, Meek Mill accused Drake of having a ghostwriter in a heated Twitter rant.

The ghostwriter was later revealed to be Quentin Miller.

In March, Miller confirmed during an interview with VladTV that Meek Mill and the Dreamchasers laid hands on him during an interview with VladTV. DJ Vlad was initially told about Miller’s run with the Dreamchasers during an interview with Taxstone.

“We was in LA, I was walking to the Nike store,” Miller explained. “He [Meek Mill] approached me, this was really my first time talking with Meek, basically told me he ain’t appreciate the letter I dropped and it made him seem like he was liar. They f*****g stole off on me in the Nike store and ran. I shed blood in the Nike store on Wilshire.”

Miller is not sweating the incident because, according to him, he has nothing to prove.

“I’m not a street n***a,” he said. “I’m a suburban kid. I’m not a violent person. I’m not out here trying to be the toughest n***a. Punching me is like punching Frank Ocean or like punching ILoveMakonnen. What kind of points are you getting off of that? I’m one of the most peaceful, nicest motherf*****s you’ll ever meet.”

“Views” isn’t the first project Drake dedicated a bar or two to Meek Mill. The Canadian rapper famously took aim at Meek in his “What A Time To Be Alive” mixtape.
