The most off-the-wall news stories from Chicago shouldn’t really surprise anyone anymore. But an incident that recently occurred on the Chicago Transit Authority’s Blue Line in Oak Park may take the cake.
Last week, a male passenger attacked a woman riding the CTA with a sock filled with human poop.
“He has a sock full of his poop on me,” said the woman who requested anonymity, according to NBC Chicago. “It was everywhere; on my face, my hair, my clothes.”
The woman tried to follower her attacker, but he eventually eluded her.
“The guy got on with me at Oak Park,” she said. “I wasn’t really paying attention. “…Next stop, he throws something in my face.”
Oak Park officers searched for the man, but didn’t find him. Police obtained surveillance footage of their “person of interest.”
The woman said she would’ve preferred the man to hit her because she thinks it would’ve been less traumatic.
“It was like the biggest degradation I’ve ever experienced,” she said.
