Famous Dex Comes Out Of Retirement: I Can’t Give Up

Famous Dex has come out of retirement less than 24 hours after he quit the music business.

Dex told followers he’s not giving up in a newly posted video.

“I can’t give up. I won’t give up,” Dex said. “I’m sorry for that speech I gave. …I got too much going on. I got too much of y’all to live for. If it wasn’t for y’all. If it wasn’t for my second family.”

Last night, Dex gave fans a scare after announcing he was stepping away from music.

Famous Dex thanked his fans for supporting him before announcing he was stepping away from music.

“It’s just too much going on. I can’t deal with this sh*t.

Dex went on to say he is removing himself of social media, including Periscope, Snapchat, Twitter and Instagram.

“There will be no mixtape dropping,” he continued. “I stopped everything. I just want my life back. I just wanna live with my daughter and be f*****g me. It’s too much pressure. It’s too much sh*t going on.”

Rich The Kid learned of Dex’s comments and took to Twitter to offer his some words of encouragement.

“I swear @FamousDex up next @RichForeverinc

“No matter what don’t give up

“@FamousDex I love you bro come home to la & come smoke up I miss you dawg,” Kid wrote.

Rich The Kid later posted a vid of himself talking to a bottle cough syrup, asking for Dex’s whereabouts.

Famous Dex allegedly signed to 300 Entertainment a week ago.

Dex raised speculation of the deal after posting an image of himself in the record company’s office.

The caption on his post read, “I found uh way to take care my family.”

Rich The Kid later posted a photo onto his IG account of Dex signing a contract, writing, “Rich forever music.”

Rich The Kid brought Dex to 300 Entertainment’s offices in April.

Dex posted an image of himself with Rich The Kid and Lyor Cohen onto IG.

The caption on his post read, “Momma I Made It Out The Mud.”

300 Entertainment is an independent record company founded by industry veterans Lyor Cohen, Roger Gold, Kevin Liles and Todd Moscowitz. The label boasts a slew of talented artists, including Fetty Wap and Young Thug.
