In Hip Hop’s most random news, Flavor Flav announced he is gong to free Bobby Shmurda from prison by paying his $2 million bail.

“Aye yo Shmurda, Flavor Flav, we coming to get you out, baby,” he said while flashing an undisclosed amount of money with an unnamed man beside him. “…Shmurda was the case that they gave me.”

Bobby Shmurda is jailed on charges of conspiracy, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Bobby Shmurda appeared in Manhattan Supreme Court Thursday, June 25 where turned down an eight-year plea deal.

Bobby, dressed in an orange jumpsuit, did not speak with or acknowledge family members or Epic Records executives in attendance (including label president, Sylvia Rhone), according to Revolt.

Bobby’s trial will begin Oct. 5.
