Friends and family took to social media to mourn slain Chicago artist Thot Boy VA.

Thot Boy VA, born Vaughn Allison, was fatally struck as he and his brother were sitting on their porch. His brother Vell Allison suffered a gunshot wound, but is recovering in a hospital.

Both brothers were members of the rap group Thot Boyz.

Close friends and family of the pair held a vigil at their home.
