G Herbo Remembers Two Young Boys Who Gave Their Lives To The Streets

G Herbo took to IG to share a photo of two shorties who got involved in the streets very early. The young boys, Gage and Arro, were gunned down before they reached adulthood.

Herb captioned his post, “NEVER SEEN THESE TWO LIL N—– BACK DOWN B4 WHEN THEY GOT TO A CERTAIN AGE THEY JUST WENT ALL THE WAY NORTH… THATS THAT EAST SIDE THEY AINT DO S— BUT REPEAT THE SAME S— WE WAS DOING… LOVE YALL LIL BRO THIS THE TYPE OF S— THAT MAKE YOUZ FEEL A CERTAIN WAY ABOUT THE STREETS… BUT WE ALL KNOW WHAT COME WIT THIS S—.. SMH SLEEP TIGHT LIL FOENEM.”

Arro, born Aaron Richardson, was only 15 when he was shot and killed on Sept. 7, 2015 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He moved from Chicago to Iowa two years prior.

Arro’s older brother, Troy Mims, described him as a good kid who fell in with the wrong crowd.

“Instead of doing what everyone said he was going to do, he should have done the opposite and proven us wrong,” Mims told The Gazette. “He was smart, he wasn’t dumb.”

Robert Humbles, 14, was charged with Arro’s murder.

Lil Gage, whose real name is Trevon D. Smith, was shot and killed early Sunday, July 17. He was 15.

Gage and a 16-year-old friend were walking in a Kenwood neighborhood alley at 12:50 a.m. when a red minivan pulled up and someone inside opened fire, according to the Chicago Sun Times.

Gage was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene. The 16-year-old boy suffered a gunshot wound to the left leg and was taken to a hospital in serious condition.

A woman who witnessed the aftermath of the shooting said the getaway vehicle stopped at a light before completing a left turn.

“They waited for the light to change before they turned left,” she said.” It was crazy.”

A GoFundMe page has been set up to cover Gage’s funeral expenses.
