Gun Violence Wounds Two People At Lil Kemo’s Music Video Shoot

A positive event for rising Chicago star Lil Kemo turned into a nightmare after an unknown gunman opened fire on attendees of a video shoot that was held in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

Lil Kemo, the self-proclaimed “Bop King,” was filming a music video when bullets rang out striking two people. A 28-year-old woman was hit in the back and transported to Mount Sinai Hospital. An 18-year-old man shot in the thigh and walked himself to the Mount Sinai.

Kemo was not injured in the shooting. Police currently do not have any suspects in the shooting.
