Hazing Charges Dropped Against VSU Alpha Phi Alpha Members



The Alpha Phi Alpha chapter at Virginia State University received good news today after a prosecutor agreed to drop hazing charges filed against the historic African-American fraternity, according to the AP.

Details of the hazing incident that led to the charges were not revealed. Three men were slapped with misdemeanor hazing charges, including Leroy Amankrah, 22; Christopher Barnes Prevot, 23; Brandon Randleman, 22; and 28-year-old William Nicholson II.

The men agreed to accept several conditions suggested by Petersburg, VA chief prosecutor.
