MTV’s “Jersey Shore” reality star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has been hit with a $7 million counterclaim in her legal battle with a licensing company, according to CBS News.
In October, Polizzi filed a lawsuit to end a contract with SRG Ventures, whom she had originally partnered with to launch her brand of merchandise, according to the New York Post.
SRG Ventures countersued claiming Polizzi sabotaged the deal by negotiating with brands behind the company’s back. Polizzi alleged the company didn’t fulfill its obligation to land her enough money or branding partnerships.
“Jersey Shore” returns to MTV for its fifth season next year beginning Jan. 5.
