Members of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity chapter at California State University, Bakersfield have reached a plea deal for their role in an April 2011 hazing incident, Bakersfield Now reports.
Three members of the fraternity are accused brutally beating pledges. They even shot pledges with a BB Gun and pellet pistol.
Deandre Horn, Philemon Norris and Ryan Nichols all pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor count of “method of initiation/ pre-initiation into school organization,” Bakersfield Now reports.
Horn also pleaded no contest to misdemeanor batter on a person. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for 10 days and will be remain on probation for three years.
Norris and Nichols may have their charge dismissed if they can stay out of trouble until a March 2014 court date conditional dismissal hearing.

I have been a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. for 34 years. What was done to the young men was not pledging. It was 100% abuse to another young brother. The young men should have kicked those kappa’s ass. After awhile you must determine that you should defend yourself as a man.
