King Louie (Mubu) Shot In The Head In Chicago



King Louie was allegedly shot in South Side Chicago, according to multiple reports.

The Mubu boss, born Louis Johnson Jr., was shot in the head in the Ashburn neighborhood, according to the Chicago Sun Times.



The shooting occurred in the 3900 block of West 83rd street about 3:30 p.m. He was taken to Christ Medical Center In Oak Lawn.



Sam Charles, a reporter for the Sun Times, wrote via Twitter that Louie’s manager confirmed the shooting. Louie, according to the manager, is awake and talking.



Spot News is also reporting that King Louie was shot.






Prior to his shooting, Louie posted a photo of himself with his children onto IG.

“As long as I’m living these 3 $traight #MyKids #AmMyBrothersKeeper,” the caption on his post read.



King Louie is credited with helping to spearhead the drill movement in the Windy City. He was extremely popular for his “Drilluminati” mixtape series.
