King Yella Says Chicago’s Music Scene Would Make A Lot Of Money Like Atlanta If Everyone Stuck Together: ‘We Got Too Much Hatred’

According to King Yella, there is a profitable oil field in Chicago that has yet to be tapped. But tapping this field may prove to be difficult because it is laced with booby traps and land mines.

The booby trap is hate.

Yella said Chicago’s music scene could be hot if not hotter than Atlanta if everyone stuck together.

“…One thing about Atlanta, they stick together. … They whole City on,” Yella said. “Our whole City could be like that, but we got too much hatred in Chicago. It ain’t gon work. If our City was to come together – it a probably never happen – it’d be a lot of money. A lot of n-ggas in Chicago a have a lot of money. But you got too many n-ggas that stab you in the back. There’s too many snakes. N-ggas ain’t sh-t here. A lot of n-ggas doing their thing in Chicago. I know my team doing our thing. We gon make it to the top. That’s all I’m gonna say.”
