Leoski D’s latest music video new single “Welcome To Chiraq” is hard-hitting. The gospel-tinged instrumental for the track incorporates an old school soulful feel, which easily taps into one’s emotions upon listening to this record.
Leoski tapped Dark Mirror Films to record his latest visual project as he breaks down the history of violence in his crime-ridden hometown and narrates a tale of a youngin becoming a hitter.
Leoski, wearing a Chicago Bulls jersey and cap, raps, “His daddy long gone, momma gave up/So he don’t got no structure how he raised up/The pastor can’t reach him, teachers gave up/He in an out of juvie he all banged up/He tryna build a name for himself/So what he do, he went and grabbed the banger off the shelf.”
