Lil’ Bibby Says ‘There’s No Changing’ Violence In Chicago

Chicago rapper Lil’ Bibby sat down with Sway In The Morning to discuss the violence plaguing his hometown.

Lil’ Bibby, born Brandon Dickerson, described the violence as “ugly.”

“I don’t think there’s no changing,” the 18-year-old MC said. “It’s so ugly; I lost like four homies in the past month. It ain’t nothing but killing, nothing but shootings going on. No getting money. Aint none of that.”

The “For The Low” rapper revealed he knows pre-teens who are in possession of firearms.

“I got some little homies that’s 12 and 13 playing with guns,” he said. “I ain’t trying to promote it… but that’s how it is.

“…The kids listen to the music and make them want to do what the rappers do.”
