Lil Durk Speaks On Police Brutality and Black-On-Black Violence In Chiraq

Days ago, Lil Durk got a black lives matter tattoo after the recent police shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castille.

Durk showed off his tat on IG via Snapchat. He captioned his post, “What’s going on today crazy to me in the world – we matter 2x.”

Durk spoke on his tat during an interview with Hot 97’s Ebro In The Morning crew. Ebro asked Durk if Black Lives really matters to him when black-on-black violence is at an all-time high in Chicago.

“Yeah, I don’t give a f**l what nobody say about me,” Durk explained. “At the end of the day, I can be the leader of Black Lives Matter, motherf*****s still gon say something. It really hurt us seeing it on the news.”

Durk went on to say the police take an oath to serve and protect, not hurt people.

Check out Durk’s interview at 14:00-minute mark.
