Lil Durk is gearing up for the release of his debut album “Remember My Name.” Durk made his way to Chicago’s WGCI to give DJ Moondawg the scoop on the project and premier his new single “Like Me” featuring Jeremih.
“This what we been waiting on. …Now we gotta turn it up a notch with a single that we had since ‘This Ain’t What You Want,’” Duke told Moondawg. “We built a buzz again and kept the streets on fire. …Def Jam had came back onboard and seen what was doing.”
Consistency and keeping the streets happy, Durk said, led to Def Jam green lighting his album.
Durk’s “Remember My Name” is slated to drop May 12.
