Lil Durk To Drop ‘Signed To The Streets 2’ Mixtape & ‘OTF’ Album This Year

Lil Durk has dropped “Fuckery” as a title for his forthcoming mixtape and opted to name the project “Signed To the Streets 2.” This project and an “OTF” album are slated to drop sometime this year.

“#stts2 a kill em before my album this year #onlythefamily

“Album droppin 2014 #onlythefamily,” he wrote on Twitter.

Durk initially had a Jan. 5 release date, but was prevented from releasing the project at the direction of Def Jam.

“DEFJAM told me not to drop a Mixtape,” he wrote.

Durk has built a bit of a buzz surrounding this project with snippets of several singles.

Lil Durk has been teasing a new song “Getting Money With My Team” for the past few months. This will most likely be the project’s lead single.

In this single, Durk raps, “I got locked up/Lost a couple ni**as, lost couple killers that got chopped up/Motivation and struggle/I can’t believe it, I can’t believe it/We are the team and we eating/Bad b*tches conceited/A lot of money, we even.”

Durk teased snippets of songs “Last Year” and “Shots Fired” in late December 2013.

In “Last Year,” Lil Durk is on to new ventures, while everyone else is just catching up to what he has already done the year prior.

Durk raps, “You wife that b***h, I did that b***h like year/You drive that s**t, I drove that s**t like last year/Them yo kicks, I did that s**t like last year.”

Durk’s “Shots Fired” is hard hitting.

Durk commented on IG, “Some light s**t when I hear rumors.”

Durk raps, “There’s been a lot of sneak dissing going on/N****as, b*****s cause we going strong.”

Durk streamed a snippet of another unreleased last week while in the studio where he raps, “Doing time, n****s know they got them choppers, growing like going to war with the mobsters.”

Lil Durk previously mention the “OTF” project during an interview with blogger Karen Civil. He stated he would be releasing an OTF project in collaboration with French Montana’s Coke Boys label.

“Oh yeah, we’re going to do something with the Coke Boys,” Durk told Karen Civil in reference to the OTF project.

Durk also hinted he was prepping his debut album.

He is hoping to secure the sound of the core group of producers that were instrumental in providing the sound for his Def Jam debut mixtape “Signed To The Streets,” including Paris Beuller, Young Chop, Nito Beats and Dree The Drummer.

Paris Beuller was at the production helm of several hit songs, including, “Dis Ain’t What U Want” and “Competition.”

“Workin on my album this gone show niggas dat my lane is real small step it up a lilbit #OTF

“I need @youngchopbeatz and @ParisBeuller send me a folder each we album ready #london #dreedadrumma #nito #renegade #zae who Eva else,” he wrote.

There is currently no set release date for the projects.
