Lil Durk To Record Verse & Release L’A Capone’s Last Song ‘Brothers’

Lil Durk is still reeling from the loss of close friend and aspiring rapper Leonard Anderson, who performed under the rap moniker L’A Capone.

Durk appeared to be at a loss for words upon learning the fate of the “Play For Keeps” rapper.

The Def Jam artist first wished his rap counterpart a speedy recovery, but soon learned Capone would never recover.

“RIP lil bro @LAFRM600,” he wrote.

The Coke Boy refrained from using Twitter for several days following the news.

Lil Durk suffered two major losses in the month of September. His close friend J Money, whose birth name was Jerome Wood, succumbed to injuries after he was shot in the head on Labor Day, Sept. 2.

“Lost so many niggas rip #OMG,” Durk wrote.

LA Capone made a cameo appearance in Durk and Capone’s collaborative song “We Don’t F*ck Around.”

Durk revealed on Twitter that Capone again requested his assistance on song “Brothers.” This happened to be Capone’s last song he was working on in the studio just before his tragic murder.

“Rip #la you did dis da night you got killed you wanted me to do it I got you squad ima drop it the right way,” he wrote.

No word on when the song will be released.
