Lil’ Mister On Lil’ JoJo’s Death: ‘It Made Me Go Harder’



Chicago rapper Lil’ Mister sat down for an interview with Only 4 The Real to discuss his fallen comrade Lil’ JoJo’s death.

Lil’ JoJo, whose birth name is Joseph Coleman, was murdered in a hail of bullets on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012 while riding on the back pegs of a friend’s bike.

His death came following a highly publicized street beef with Chief Keef’s Glory Boyz Entertainment camp, namely members Lil’ Durk and Lil’ Reese.

Lil’ Mister told the media outlet the death of his Bricksquad companion made him more driven.

“It made me go harder,” Lil’ Mister told Only 4 The Real.

Lil’ Mister elaborated the media attention Lil’ JoJo’s death attracted put a lot of eyes on him.

“It gave me a lot more attention,” he said. “It affected a lot. A lot of people opened their eyes to see it’s really real. Anybody can get touched. Nobody ain’t invincible. That’s all. That’s real nigga shit.”
