Lil’ Snupe’s Alleged Murderer, Tony Holden, Turns Himself In



Tony Holden, a suspect wanted in connection with the murder of rising rap artist Lil’ Snupe, turned himself in Tuesday afternoon, according to The Associated Press.

Winnfield, LA police reportedly issued a warrant Friday for the arrest of 36-year-old Holden who allegedly shot the aspiring rapper twice in the chest.

Lil Snupe, born Addarren Ross, was murdered following an argument over a video game, according to MTV News.

A photo surfaced online showing the two playing the video game just hours before the murder took place.



Holden had three warrants for his arrest, including one count each of first-degree murder, armed robbery and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to police records obtained by the Shreveport Times.

The convicted felon reportedly stands 5’8,” weighs approximately 215 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes.

Police said Holden was armed and dangerous. The convicted felon’s rap sheet includes being arrested forcible rape, second-degree kidnapping and aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon, according police records obtained by Billboard.

Lil’ Snupe never fully got to realize his dreams of being a rap superstar due to being gunned down early Thursday morning.

MMG artist Meek Mill released text messages revealing Rick Ross’ plans to put Lil’ Snupe on the label’s upcoming “Self Made Vol. 3” album.

“Rozay want you 2 send a heater 4 self made 3….. Some fire…..No sample….This can be ya first time on a big album.

“He said single type shit….. Here’s ya shot,” Meek wrote.

In the same message, Lil’ Snupe thanked Meek for taking him under his wing.

“On Some Real Shit Bruh Thank You 4 Just Giving Me The opportunity 2 Do My Thang!!! You Really Changed A Nigga Life Man.”



The rapper’s final tweet before his tragic demise paid homage to his hometown.

“i Hold it Down 4 Louisiana,” he wrote.



Rumors of the young MC’s death caught the attention of Meek early Thursday morning.

“tell lil snupe hit me up right now!!!” Meek wrote on his Twitter account.

Turk, formerly of the Cash Money Hot Boys, sent a message to Meek, writing, SHIT TRUE BRUH…”



Turk took to his Twitter account to remember the fallen emcee.

“FUCKED UP!!!!! JUST TALKED TO LIL HOMIE #THUGGNPEACE @LILSNUPE,” he wrote.



The young NOLA rapper’s death was confirmed via his manager on Instagram.

“The call I got this morning us un real RIP 2 my Lil nigga @lilsnupe,” the caption on the photo read.
