Lil Wayne’s YMCMB Artist, Flow, Indicted In Memorial Day Double Murder

Flow of Lil Wayne’s YMCMB camp was arrested a day after a grand jury indicted him Thursday on charges of murdering two brothers on Memorial Day in New Orleans, according to The Times-Picayune.

Flow is accusing of gunning down Kendred, 18, and Kendrick “Muddcupbuddy” Bishop, 22, inside a black Kia Cadenza.

Flow, born Widner Degruy, was reportedly arrested alongside his girlfriend Jamya Brady who is facing two charges of obstruction.

Flow, 23, was booked Wednesday, July 1 in Baton Rouge after initially being on the run for weeks for his alleged crime.

He was freed after posting $500,000 bail. His alleged accomplice, Jonathan Evans, 18, who was also indicted, remained jailed on $535,000 bail.

A fourth defendant, Chantell Edwards, was also named in the indictment for allegedly being an accessory after the killings. Police have yet to apprehend her.

“The six-count indictment accuses both men of the murders and a conspiracy to commit murder, as well as obstruction of justice and conspiracy to obstruct justice,” according to New Orleans Advocate.

Surveillance footage shows Flow and Evans running from the scene of the crime. A second surveillance footage shows Flow and the other suspect making a purchase at a nearby store. Flow is also alleged to have left his cell phone outside of the vehicle. He returned to the scene of the crime to retrieve it.

The older Bishop was a friend and rap affiliate of Flow. Flow took to IG to express shock and sadness over Kendrick’s death after posting a photo of the slain rapper with words “Rest In Peace Muddcupbuddy.”

His caption on the post read, “MOB in Peace slime ..Abk FGM Boming behind dat @muddycupbuddy dat mixtape still Boming out knuckle headz .. N u spitting dat crack ..we sliding fa u on piiiru!!! Love u Blood…. We was just turning up at da tune show ..smh.”

A few weeks prior to this post, Flow took to IG request fans to follow the rapper’s account.

Flow’s caption read, “FGM follow …2K1 is ours….the New New Orleans ..I told yall.”

Flow was charged with attempted murder in 2013. Flow is alleged to have shot at a male acquaintance on April 29. On the same night, he and two others were alleged to have beaten and robbed a man of cash and a cell phone. Flow fled to Oakland, CA where he was later arrested.

Flow appeared on Lil Wayne’s “Sorry 4 The Wait” and “Dedication” mixtapes. He also spit a freestyle alongside Weezy in the YMCMB cipher.
