The Chiraq Hip Hop community can be credited with popularizing the term “savage.”

Lud Foe was asked his definition of “savage” during a sit-down interview with Pvnch of This Is 50.

“Savage is a motherf****r that’s just ruthless,” he said. “They don’t care. Savage is a motherf****r that’s willing to take it to any level. They don’t care. A savage is a motherf****r that’ll take your s**t. Basically, that’s what a savage is. A savage ain’t got no limits to behavior. Any given second.”
