Lupe Fiasco Reveals Artwork For Upcoming ‘Tetsuo & Youth’ Single ‘Mission’

Lupe Fiasco is on a “Mission” with his forthcoming album “Tetsuo & Youth.” The Chicago native revealed the cover art for his new single through website weareonamission.org.

The single is set to drop May 19, which happens to be the birth date of Civil Rights icon Malcolm X.

Lupe told Rolling Stone he was abandoning socio-political rhymes on his fifth studio album.

“For some people it’s gonna be a shock because there are no politics on the record. Consciously, there are no politics on the record,” he said. “If you want to hear my political spiel or some pseuo-intellectual Lup, go listen to ‘Food & Liquor II.” From here on out, I’m just making music.”

The project will feature Chris Brown, Big K.R.I.T. and Rick Ross, to name a few.
