Migos Issue Statement On Miami I-95 Shootout



Migos are alive and well following a shootout that occurred on I-95 early Friday morning.

Migos issued a statement following the near tragic incident via social media.

The three-man band posted a photo of themselves on IG. Offset motions his trigger finger towards the camera, Quavo flexes his biceps and TakeOff has cigarette smoke billowing from his mouth.

The caption on the post read, “Lot of f*ck Niggas Tryna take my Life But I keep da thang on me so Yu Betta #THINKTWICE #YRN.”



Quavo issued a personal statement via Twitter, reading, “Wonder if im gone be on first 48??? #Nah.”



“Quavo Quavo Quavo Quavo Quavo IM GOOD!! #NL2,” he added.



The incident occurred following a cancelled performance at nightclub Café Iguana early Friday morning.

A black vehicle, according to statements provided to authorities, pulled alongside their bus and opened fire. A member of Migos’ crew on the bus returned fire at the vehicle.

One person on the bus was struck in the leg and transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to NBC 6.
