Montana of 300 is upset with the media coverage of Bruce Jenner’s transformation into Caitlyn.
The “Cursed With A Blessing” rapper took to IG to share an article about Akon launching “Solar Academy” to bring electricity to 600 million Africans.
“Mind your business and be a blessing,” the caption on Montana’s post read.
Montana’s message simply means do good without seeking attention.
Akon opened a Solar Academy as part of his effort to bring electricity to 600 million to people in rural communities across Africa, according to Reuters. Akon’s initiative will help African engineers and entrepreneurs develop skills that will enable them to produce solar power.
“We have the sun and innovative technologies to bring electricity to homes and communities. We now need to consolidate African expertise,” said Samba Baithily, who founded Akon Lighting Africa with Akon and Thione Niang.
The organization also hopes to create jobs with its initiative.
“We expect the Africans who graduate from this center to devise new, innovative, technical solutions,” said Niang. “With this academy, we can capitalize on Akon Lighting Africa and go further.”
Akon took to IG to post several photos of himself promoting his venture.
“The future of emerging markets are looking very bright. Thanks to Se4all.org #akonlightofafrica,” the captions on his posts read.
Akon also posted a very telling meme of an Africa-shaped steak surrounded by four plates with flags representing the U.S., France, Israel, and Great Britain.
