Nicki Minaj took to IG to congratulate G Herbo on the release of his debut album “Humble Beast.”
Nicki posted the “Humble Beast” artwork with a caption, reading, “Congratulations @nolimitherbo #HumbleBEAST the Album out now!!! I sampled him on #Chiraq. Chicago stand up.”
Nicki and Herb collabed on the epic track “Chiraq.” Many rappers have remixed the record, including Young M.A, JoJo World, Montana of 300 and many more.
Nicki posted a clip of herself performing the record on to IG in October 2016 with a caption, reading, “so many ppl remixed this, that I once read an article in the U.K. that referred to mine as a remix too. This was on an original beat, I just asked Lil Herb to make his first few bars of another record he had with Bibby, the hook to THIS song cuz that flow and what he was saying was so hard. “Know a cpl n—– dats down to ride for a homicide when it’s drama time, run up on a ngga wit da llamas flyin, leave his loved ones all traumatized”.
Herb was thankful for Nicki’s words. He posted a snapshot of Nicki’s post onto IG with a caption, reading, “You know I love you always will! @nickiminaj”
Herb;s 15-track project features guest appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, Bump J, Lil Bibby, Lil Yachty and Jeremih. Production on the tape comes DJ L, C-Sick, Southside and more.
