Chad Ochocinco is one of the most giving athletes in the NFL. Monday was no different as the Patriot’s wide receiver treated his many fans to dinner at the famed Sylvia’s soul food restaurant in Harlem.
He sent a tweet to his millions of followers asking if anyone wanted to join him for dinner.
“Dinner in NY tonight — > 1st 200 people at Sylvia’s Restaurant by 7pm in Harlem. Leave ya money/ credit cards at home. I got you this time,” he tweeted.
The restaurant had to turn away 50 people, The Post Game reports.
According to TMZ, the superstar receiver paid the total bill of $7,914.
Ocho even gave his cell number to all of his dinner guests. He was upset that they haven’t used his number.
He took to Twitter to tweet his frustrations:
“I gave 200 people my number and only 13 people have texted me. That’s rhino drppings!!! I gave you my number to use it [expletive], let’s go.”
