Omega Psi Phi is disputing their involvement in a Dougherty County, GA gang shooting that lead to the death of a Bloods Gang leader, according to WALB-TV.

Authorities say a Sunday, Aug. 25 shooting left six people wounded and Southside Bloods leader dead. Police say the rival Rattlers gang killed 24-year-old Dontavious Luke at the Shackleford Shopping Center, WALB-TV reports.

The gang shooting placed local schools on alert. Westover High School heightened security for a pep rally and scheduled football games in the area.

“Everybody in the city I think is concerned at this point,” Dougherty County School System Assistant Superintendent Kenneth Goseer told WALB-TV.
