The ladies of Spelman college are sure to receive words of wisdom as they have the privilege of welcome Oprah Winfrey to their school. The queen of daytime talk has accepted the to speak at Spelman College’s 2012 commencement to some 550 students, according to The Atlantic Journal- Constitution.

The all-women historically black university-college will hold commencement on May 20 at the George International Convention Center. Winfrey received an honorary degree from the college in 1993 and will be given the National Community Service Award this year.
