Mixtape Review: OTF NuNu- ‘OTF Forever: The Best Of OTF NuNu’

NuNu was on the rise on the underground Hip Hop circuit. But his life was tragically cut short due to his tragic murder. NuNu’s life may have been taken, but his music will continue to stream the ear buds, stereos and speakers of fans for eternity.

Sam Hoody and Mixtape Kitchen put together NuNu’s most popular tracks from the past year for the project “OTF Forever: The Best Of OTF NuNu.” The project also features some brand new music to fans’ delight.

The tape appropriately begins with the track “Feelin’ Good.” Nuski had no worries and was on his way to the top during his short rap stint.

One of the newly released tracks to grace this tape is “Man Now” with Guapo Dinero.

Nuski raps, “They heard we got them bricks, so now we moving out of town/I never tote a chop if it ain’t got a hundred rounds/My n-ggas got the bando jumping n-gga/Red bottom with the spikes it ain’t nothing n-gga/That’s your b-tch, she a eater, why you cuff her n-gga.”

Nuski ain’t with the “Disrespect” in his collaborative joint with Geez and EarlSelfMade. NuNu lets his gun handle disputes as he raps, “Let a n-gga disrespect me, watch this sh-t get hectic/When you see me boa, you know my gang down, no rapping/Keep my tool and I work that b-tch like a mechanic.”

This tape is evidence of NuNu’s hard work throughout the last year. The slew of tracks NuNu released were enough for two mixtapes. And NuNu has more music stored away in his vault.

This project will hold fans steady until the release of his solo debut mixtape “Nuski Got Da Strap,” which is set to drop July 4.
